... Von dem Gebäude wird eine gewisse Ruhe und Autorität ausgestrahlt, dass man ganz vergisst, dass man sich in Mitten einer Stadt befindet.

Der nächste Morgen begrüßt mich mit Regen. Es ist jedoch nicht so ein unangenehmer Pladderregen, sondern einfach nur nass von oben. Durch den vielen Niederschlag und die milden Temperaturen fängt hier auch schon alles an zu blühen und die Grünflächen strahlen in einem satten grün und nicht in dem typischen "nach dem Winter" ...

I had set my departure time from Victoria for 9:00am in order to be in Nanaimo, 110km away, for the 5:20pm ferry to Vancouver. As I was ready to leave, I noticed that my front tire had a slow deflating puncture. ... t even have shoes on when we arrived! A rush across the block to the Odeon for Blue Valentine meant we didn't even miss the trailers. This film wasn't part of the festival, but was just as disheartening as the one that was. Another film without a happy ending that left us all feeling as though the story hadn't been entirely resolved.

I enjoyed them both, but give me Sleepless in Seattle or Love Actually any day. ...
