... back bigger, I just hope it's muscle and not fat. At least that's what Laura's told me anyway. I finally got fed up of not being able to make any proper food though and bought a skillet which is like an electric heated pan and lid, which can apparently roast, grill, fry and stew. So I'll finally be able to take advantage of the tempting steaks in the supermarket. Shopping here is really cheap as all of the shopping on base is tax free. We had a great day touring St. Augustine, the oldest European city in the United States. We took the trolley around and really enjoyed seeing this beautiful city. Yesterday it rained all day but today was clear if a little cool.

Never knew that the history of United States really started here. This colony started before Jamestown. Ponce de Leon was not looking for the Fountain of Youth, he was looking for gold for the King of Spain.

Josh was only here for a couple of days and Amy is a nurse working in the operating theatres at the station hospital, so she's said she'll ask around and see if I can go and see some surgery which would be class! ... to bring the child out to the beach. I understand there are times when you don't want your kid getting covered with sand and salt water. Maybe they were on their way to eat. But don't go to the beach with a five year old if you don't want the boy to get excited and start playing in the sand. My guess is it wasn't a surprise to her, yet she did it anyway. There's some interesting psychology behind that sort of decision.
