Beautiful park ! Many places to fish.

    Not dog friendly.

Half campsites were on the beach and half on the river.

Riverside has one bathhouse / Air conditioned but not close to all the sites.

    Large sites overall.

Rained the first day, flooded 95% of the riverside sites, ours (#54) was the worst with at least 4" of standing water.

No vacant dry spots. Refund issued returned home.

Will try again during dry season. (maybe)

Had a great time. Love cooking on the gas stove ! Had a blast.

Dogs had a blast and were super tired at the end of each day.

Park was adequate. Sites are small and many spiders. Bathrooms are not walking distance. Better sites on first loop on left side as entering park.

It's meant to be a sunny week here so I should be out and about doing quite a bit to tell you ...

Going over the Dames Point Bridge in Jacksonville Florida. Heading to Hanna Park Campground and staying still Friday.

Our niece Leah just called and said she's picking us up at our campground and taking us to breakfast in the morning at a neat little restaurant. We are so looking forward to seeing her and family. When she was growing up ...

... is no less delicious. I finish with an interesting cheesecake that is really hard to describe, except to say it had pistachios and cherries and was really yummy.

I don't walk back along the beach, choosing to go through the residential neighborhood. Lightning flashes off to the west, and the clouds look more menacing. The coastal breeze that kept the storms at bay have died down. What humidity existed earlier was gone, pulled up into ...
