Heading to Amsterdam tomorrow (Jess’ first time) and we are debating about whether to hire bikes. Knowing what we are like, I’m thinking it is probably better not to but then it would be quite hilarious.

... big your car was for the tight reverse park, you would be in the water before you knew it. Wikus did quite a good job reverse parking the left-hand drive on the water's edge. Then we had to ask for directions again, as the Best Western was not in plain sight.

One beer down and I walk outside the station. Of course, he slugged me 3,10€ but it is a station full of tourists. It's still too cheap by Australian standards. I wandered out, had a quick look around outside and found the next Stella Artois sign and headed in for another beer.
