... city. Like Paris being the 'city of love', which instead of making me love the city, it just adds to me feeling more alone, so much that I become eager to leave it. Belgium, which I expected to be a bit dorky and boring was instead beautiful and medieval (my favourite type of European city), and not tainted with any deep-seated prejudices within myself. ... call reception tomorrow morning. Nadzha's friend contacted us and we will be going over for dinner on Friday. So I think we'll be spending the day with Sanna and then day with Sheryl. ... were locals. The Gentse Feesten was the major attraction this week. It's a week long party with music and drama for the local population with around 2 million visitors over the course of the festival. Hopped on a train this morning to Antwerpen and to get a connection onto Amsterdam. Hopefully I won't have the outrageous tourist prices of Bruges to deal with. Up to 10 euros a waffle ...

We did an exchange to Brasschaat, a suburb of Antwerp. The house was lovely, in a huge garden. The owners were totally into eco living, so everything that could be had to be composted, no chemicals were ever used in the garden (which was therefore alive with butterflies), and we were requested to use "green" products like washing up liquid and loo rolls. Everything in the house was a natural material, like linen or cotton,and the floors were wood or slate-gorgeous, actually. Brasschaat ...

... food was the result. Well yteah, off to the bar then.

We ended up at 3 wise monkeys. Awesome bar in the heart of Sydney.
The lychee cocktail was absolutely awesome, but quite strong as well! We had a couple of em, followed with Smirnoff, all paid by jakie :)

Afterwards, I went outside for a smoke, and he followed me. We hooked up and had an awesome night. The only issue was that it was my last night in Australia. I had to go back ...
