... Mike taught me, but it was too glaring to look at the LCD for live view, so I went back to my compensation metering and trial & error.

Picked up some frozen dinners at the grocery store and ate them at the motel room. I would be quite depressed if I live in this town day in and day out ....

We don't plan to do sunrise shooting tomorrow. I need some sleep - got a total of no more than 8 hours for the last 2 days. Don't want to get sick.

... out with the fire department, her family turned up so we said our goodbyes and headed on our way. Lewiston stinks! Not in a bad way but due to all the paper mills there is a bad stench in the air. We drove up and down looking for a motel and ended up in the cheapest one we could find, later we found it was the cheapest for a reason!

... waiting for a train to pass under us. It was terrifyingly cool waiting under the stars and not really knowing what to expect, but again it did not disappoint.
