... the way out of Palouse, there were some very beautiful rolling fields. Hard to stop and find the position to take photos though :-(

We got to Steptoe Butte around 8. There were a few photography groups staged out at different spots waiting for sunset. We went to the top, then came down to the tier below. ... out with the fire department, her family turned up so we said our goodbyes and headed on our way. Lewiston stinks! Not in a bad way but due to all the paper mills there is a bad stench in the air. We drove up and down looking for a motel and ended up in the cheapest one we could find, later we found it was the cheapest for a reason!
