Went to another one of Crystal's friends house who had gone to Oregon. We chilled by the lake watching people lapping around on wake boards and jet skis. ... Grand Rapids, stopped by at some more of Crystal's friends who gave us a lift into town. Just so happened to have Spike the local school's Mascot. Went out to a couple of bars. ... small. they like the accent. Another very nice fellow who only started singing 3 mths ago and has REALLY good baritone voice is overcoming his shyness by singing here. He never knew he could sing because the former wife poked fun at his attempts. More fool her! We had lunch at a fast food complex (Wendy's, New York Fries, Coldstone Creamery, and Tim Hortons (kind of a Dunkin' Donuts type place) all under one roof. We decided to each have a "Poutine" from New York Fries. Neither of us had had a Poutine before -- it's a dish of french fries plus a layer of cheese curds topped by a sauce/meat mixture (originally, as invented in Quebec, a brown gravy).
