          As a foodie I have to say that if you believe that it's difficult to find good food in Ireland or UK it is a myth!  Complete rubbish:-)  Like anywhere else in Europe the food is great and in fact very diverse. I didn't do any special research to find restaurants it was all on the fly, and even in the smaller towns there was good food and many of my European favorites.
