... that typically would only exist at a presidential museum. I was checking out the exhibits, when a park ranger said a tour of LBJ's boyhood home would start across the street in 5 minutes. I walked across and took a tour with two other couples. The home that LBJ, his parents, and 3 sibilings lived in during his boyhood was very basic, yet pretty nice for the time and place.

    ... for me it was still 8 miles up the road so I decided to give hitchhiking one more chance. In my rain gear, and with 2 wet bags on my back, I went back to the side of I-75. I kept a slight smile on my face and my thumb out as strong as I could and after about an hour the ride I had been waiting for showed up! 2 pick up trucks pulled up, each towing a car behind them.
