Today was a short day. So more picture were taken but, I still cannot upload them. Got to get a picture with both Paul Bunyan and his girlfriend in Hackensack. Unfortunately, Marilyn is still having bike issues. Today her rear wheel seized up on the last 6 mile of today's ride. The hotel clerk gave us a number for a guy that fixes bikes out of his house. We had lunch ...

... the office we go for the third time and Bud and I notice that there are a couple of portable pizza ovens in the office. You would think when I originally ask about pizza delivery, that if you can sell me 2 pizzas and make money; you would tell me instead of giving a tired cyclist a number to nowhere!!! Let them eat pie...we did. We also found the laundromat for our nightly entertainment! Total miles for today...47.46 Till ...

In the afternoon, Tom & Jared went for bike rides. Jared rode around Pike Bay and Cass Lake, and Tom met him part way home. The girls and I went over to Mom's cabin and played some Shanghai. We then had Mom & Dad over for dinner, before finishing our card game and then going for a late ice cream cone at our lodge. ...

... to connect to New Orleans in February. Coming from the east you go through St. Paul first. We stuck to the I-94 and drove under the overpasses and through a tunnel, seeing the skyline and bits and pieces of the two cities which are some 10 miles apart but there is really no obvious break between the two (no wonder they merged as one). The signs do indicate population for each: St. Paul being just under 300,000 and Minneapolis just under 400,000. We ...
