... that for a total ******** charge? . Ok so I am about to make phone calls to try and get a piece of glass to fix my truck. Please hope, pray, send good thoughts or whatever you do that I can do this today cause otherwise I think I am going to loose my mind once and for all. So that is what making a cross country move has been like from my perspective. Since everyone I know is busy the internet gets my vent. And you fortunate souls get to read it. Ok off to make phone calls.

I will be leaving NY on the 26th after I drop B-J and May off at the airport. Bubba and I will be in PA until the 11th of Dec so that I can go to the dr's one last time and stuff like that. ... dinner --for someone else-- chicken Caesar salads and cornbread I had made the previous night. I also served the turtle and fudge brownies. We had a small campfire and went to bed. It was a perfect night for sleeping. I love camping weather that is cold enough that you have to snuggle in the sleeping bag, but not so cold that you get cold during the night.

After our two-and-a-half day party/food marathon it is back on the road for a quick stop in Ithaca NY (possible settling place), home of Cornell U., tree-huggers, and hippies... our kind of town. On to Corning NY for a quick visit with Dad Barrett, the healthiest 77 years old any of us could know. Niagara Falls and starting back westward happens tommorrow.
