We woke this morning to winds blowing at 17 kts in the harbor with light rain. By 8 AM it calmed and the rain stopped in time for us to go ashore and have breakfast at the Cuttyhunk Fisherman Club. We were joined by our Wickford Point neighbors and the Sanfords on Black Jack. This is a fantastic local inn where the food is very good. So ...

... campsites of our trip, in a County park… very clean and grassy, with paved roads and shower/restroom a few meters away. The campground is maybe one fifth full, so there are no other occupied sites to be seen from this one. It is also the cheapest site we have ever had, at $20. We don’t have any hookups, nor wifi, so this posting will just have to grow longer and longer before you get it.

... a crab shack but they didn't really have what we wanted and what we got wasn't great. So for dinner we asked where to go and were told to go to Duffy's Tavern. We checked the menu on line and it was clams and lobster and all the stuff we were looking for. So off we went...and couldn't find it, went around in circles, Mary the GPS said go one way, Dora the Explorer on my phone said the other ...

... was delish – Goats Cheesecake with Red Onion Jam – wow it tasted good, then I had grilled turkey breast with figs – more deliciousness – then Raspberry Terrine – finished on a high!

We moseyed on up to the Crows Nest where we met up with Dave and Irene and then later Ria and Jans. We tripped the light fantastic a few times on the dance floor and had a lot of laughs. Finally headed for bed around 11.30pm. ...
