The Kentucky Derby doesn't happen in Franklin, but Franklin is home to the Kentucky Downs horse racing track. We also went to the National Corvette Museum. The GM plant where they build the Corvette is right next door.

... about 4 hours from Lexington. I will have time to make sure I am ready for the Jason Isbell show Thur. night. I'm going to try and stay up later tonight so I sleep in at least till the sun starts to come up. Tonight I'm trying a beer called Landshark from the Margaritaville Brewing Co. St. Louis. An Island style Lager. Pretty light but refreshing. I bought it at the gas station.

Glad all over...
