We get up a bit late, however, we are jet lagged from our flight yesterday and did not really sleep that well!

We go to make our breakfast and as soon as Alex had heard us, he is out, chatting away a million words a minute, haha! He is okay but we don't need this first thing at breakfast!

We have a vague plan to walk to Diamond Head, just down the road from us and then into Waikiki. So we set off in the early afternoon sun ...

... Hawaiian arrived at the check in desk I immediately got up and asked if we could upgrade to first/business class for the flight home. She said yes and that it would cost $750 each. Started with a flask of the house sake which at $7 is about half what you'd pay in a Japanese restaurant back home. Sashimi with assorted pickles was bought out first. You can't really do a lot with raw fish, except to make sure it's as fresh as possible, which this was. Next was Butterfish Miso Yaki. Sensational - actually melted in my mouth - and very flavoursome. The crispy skin was to die for.

... box jellyfish around the coast! I've had my share of run ins with jellyfish in the past and I know that vinegar is definitely a better idea than the other treatment! Reaching our destination we unloaded all the two seater sea kayaks, with added padded seats, donned our life jackets and set off. It was much easier having a seemingly empty ocean rather than a busy Lake Ontario even thought the water was still shallow. The turquoise sea was lovely and as me and Great ...
