... side of us we're not very communicative. Today we went to Aruba. We went to the jewelry stores and Vicki picked out the bracelet and a pendent. We wentacross the street and went upstairs to a very festive cafe and had lunch.
We came back to the ship and again had dinner with four empty chairs. Now we are back in our room. Tomorrow is a sea ...

... Nederland. Alles draait hier om “De Parade” en het in zo extravagante outfits hierin mee mogen lopen. De in Nederland in elkaar gepapier-machéde praalwagens zijn vervangen door rijdende muziekpodia waar live bands de hele dag vrolijke Zuid-Amerikaanse dansmuziek spelen. Ruil die boerenkiel, Johan Vlemmix, schrobbelèr en haringhappen maar in voor minuscule zwaar bevederde bikini’s, zwepende drumpartijen en grote hoeveelheden rum!

... beach below. We would see the second smaller bridge which the locals called the “Baby Bridge”. But like the first bridge, the second bridge is showing signs of the continuing effect of the wave’s erosion of the rock which is the structure of the bridge. But for now it still stands and is a worthwhile destination. The entire coastline of this section of the island was volcanic rock that was constantly being reshaped by the constant and relentless force of the waves ...
At the beach
... 8217;s, Burger King and Pizza Hut in a month...also a Senor Frog’s, where are we anyway? After a "desanding and desalting" shower, we walk off ship again and stroll through town. The area near the port is shopping, lots of jewelry and souvenirs, eating and drinking. A quick nap and then dinner at the Pinnacle....excellent food and gracious service along with good-byes to the staff there. ...
Back again but only for a short time

The walk back was a little nicer as a little of the sea breeze that graced the ship in the early afternoon was also blowing along the beach and port area of the city. There were large stores on the landward side of the walk and smaller tourist shops between open air beach bars and eateries on the seaward side.
