... part of town where I caught up on some writing and watched another glorious sunset with a few of the people from my hostel with whom I later had a cheap dinner of my greek favourite - Gyros. A gyros is a round thickish pide bread spread with tzatziki (ok I don't know how to spell that!) then loaded up with kebab meat, lettuce, tomato and hot chips (obviously no lettuce and tomato for me). I stayed calm and enjoyed myself. A few others in the group did not have as good ...

... He learnt to make 5 kinds of martins, and at $20 for the class, he also got to consume said 5 martins, a bargain! Tonight was another formal dress code evening, so we dolled up for our dinner at Chops Grille. Let me jut say that the food was excellent, the filet mignonette super juicy and tender, the red velvet cake the best I've ever had, and the service impeccable. Is Chops Grille worth the extra cover charge? ...

... gave me a takeaway breakfast to eat the following morning which was really nice!! I was really sad to leave Santorini the next morning. I loved this island and could of stayed for a lot longer but I caught the first bus down to Fira and found out that I'd missed the connecting bus to the port! The next service wasn't going to arrive until midday which would be too late to make the ferry. I started to stress a little and as I was walking to find a taxi ...
