We enjoyed wandering around the village of Fira, again with little laneways filled with shops & bars & spectacular views from the cliff Top! Another day in ...

From the port area, there are 587 steps (donkey-type steps we decided) to the top or there is a cable car...same price (5€). The "cobbled" streets/lanes ...

... back to sleep obviously not ready to chat yet. It is currently 6.14am and pitch black outside so I dress and at 6.30am head outside to the covered deck to watch the sun rise. It was beautiful and full and glowing and it was all mine, no one to be seen any where. Roosters crowing, motor bikes zipping up and down the street below, gentle breeze blowing as a donkey soaks up the peace and quiet before his manic day begins again. Off for breakfast then a wander.
