Today's adventure took us ashore by tender again. This time it was one from shore, so slightly cooler than yesterday's first trip. Once on Santorini we headed up hill in a convoy of buses. The narrow winding road that took us from sea level to the towns was surprisingly designed with buses and trucks in mind. While they were quite narrow with hairpin turns to climb the hills, the turning areas were just big enough for a bus to swing ...

... dogs on the islands - most things happen on "Greek time" here and you need to accept that.... Not a lot of urgency to most happenings, and they will tend to chat amongst themselves for a while before getting on with the task at hand.... Just an observation.... Found this a little frustrating at times.... - good clothes shopping, and some really different outfits, ... Some at good prices if you look around and bargain - if you see the trees that are painted white abut 1 metre up ...

... showing us a small part of his land then taking us inside his igloo of a home which emna found clostraphobic! The adults had a taste testing of a white, red and sweet wine. The white had quite a kick to it whereas the sweet was deliciously deadly as the kick was only fractionally obvious right at the end! Ending our bus tour we headed back to our hotel with a walk up the hill where Jackie shouted us a ride on ...
