... What a view, spectacular. Really really spectacular sites to see. We left there about 7pm and went to the JD Bar called Two Brothers where we got a nice seat in the attic seating area and before too long, found out it was going to be packed with tourists wanting to watch the Champions League Final between FC Barcelona and Juventus. Barce won 3-1 with Mels mate, Suarez, scoring a goal! :) We had many a ...

After a stop to sample some Rome gelato we made our way back to our apartment as Emily had arranged a surprise treat for us for the evening - a trip to the opera! Our next stop was Santorini, the southernmost island in the Cyclades. The approach by ferry is amazing. High up on the cliff is the gleaming city of Thira - a highlight for most cruises in the Mediterranean and for other travelers like us. During that time, we explored by quad and foot most ...

... 160;were all auto-wind styles and very majestic fully sheeted but as the wind was almost nonexistent they kept the motors running as the real motive force - it looked good though. Sunset was beautiful and just before it occurred we ended up with around a dozen other boats suddenly turning up and crowing in a bit. When it was all done we headed back dropping off some at the old port and disembarking at the new port. A young American couple were on the ...

... that rings the island. It took the bus 10 minutes just to take the winding path from sea level to living level, which gave us a great opportunity to ask Greek strangers for money, as we had cleverly run out of cash. We did get a little lost finding our accommodation, which had a sign made with pen and cardboard, but it had beds, air conditioning and wifi, so we couldn't really complain. The day had been full of ...
