... in. So glad we did! By six the castle was packed and not everyone had a seat.

The sunset was amazing and we loved loved loved it. As the sun neared the horizon we made a game plan. We decided if we left right then, we would beat the crowd out of town, and be out on the road at the edge of the island in time to see the final glimpse of the sun setting and still be able to get back to Fira before complete darkness. We moved FAST. Stopped a few times ...

I stayed calm and enjoyed myself. A few others in the group did not have as good ...

... After a few drinks at the pool bar at our hostel, we headed out to Two Brothers (recommended by the hostel). We were lucky enough to even have the hostel owner give us a lift to the bar - seriously, best hostel EVER! Holly had told us about this traditional greek bar 'activity' that her friend experienced when they came to Santorini. She told us about the greek 'Head Shot'. So of course as soon as we get to the bar I was chosen for a head shot. I got a free shot from the ...

... out of a deep blue sea. You can understand why Greece has such a rich mythological heritage when you sit here and watch the sun go down. It really is other worldly. The island is practically deserted and there is no-one staying at our apartments. We have a heated spa right outside our door and at the moment we are sitting on our balcony, drinking creamy coffee and waiting for the spa to heat up. Last night ...
