... their way past us in search of fun things to chase. We decided to head back to grab our bags so that we could line up for the Jadrolinjia ferry that would take us to Split, our final destination. Mr. Donkey (me) ran up the 200 steps, grabbed our bags, said goodbye to cute Vinka Tudor, and then ran back down the stairs. Okay, I walked. We then got on the ferry and waved goodbye to the beautiful island that we cannot wait to travel to again. Hvar is ...

We timed things well today as we got to the soccer pitch while some kids were on their recess. Over the next two hours various games occurred and Caleb had a ball. Trogir has an ...

... was a Laundromat right beside the restaurant, so some were going to drop their laundry off and pick it up tomorrow. We had been told that the laundry place only provided a “service wash” facility, but I discovered when I looked at the signs in the window that they also offered self service. Laundry will be one of my chores tomorrow.

Our dinner was in a far basement room of the Sperunga Restaurant next to the Laundromat. The room was VERY ...

    Leaving Hvar Island

All good things come to an end, and I have rescheduled my return to Switzerland via Italy and France instead of Austria and Germany.
I left the City of Hvar early morning and rode the twisty road back to Sucuraj to take the ferry back to the mainland. I arrived behind a queue of cars 500m long, all wanting to get onto the ferry. I filtered through the lot of them (That's the advantage of riding a motorbike) and got ...
