... some peeps jumping off the rocks into the sea. There was this one girl who just couldn't commit to jumping. She must have spent 15+min standing on the edge contemplating whether to jump or not. We got bored of waiting to see if she did so we're going with the assumption she didn't. Nearing the end of the walk we spotted a cool looking rooftop place for some lunch, however we failed to notice that to get back to it would involve climbing another 100 odd stairs ...

... The town's many narrow streets contain shops, restaurants and places of accommodation. We took the the ferry back to Split for some retail therapy and a wander through the streets. A couple of "firsts" today, the Croatian Riveria, (Hvar), and not one celebrity spotted, the best gelati in Split and the most expensive toilet stop on any travels ($1-50)!! Dinner at a favourite restaurant for our last night in ...

Reading it in bed this morning, it made me mindful that I am staying in a place that thousands have passed through and a slept in for thousands of years. And that, depending on how the humans race handles the next thousand years, ...

... that could end in a rather serious accident. I somehow did just happen to see quite a few cars at the edge of the road in smashed up condition on quite a few bends!! While heading along the coast road I suddenly arrived at some customs and realised I was heading into Bosnia!! I do remember looking at the map a few days ago and realizing we passed through about 20 or so km of Bosnia but I certainly do not ever remember customs etc on my last visit here. This 20 or so km is ...

    Leaving Hvar Island

All good things come to an end, and I have rescheduled my return to Switzerland via Italy and France instead of Austria and Germany.
I left the City of Hvar early morning and rode the twisty road back to Sucuraj to take the ferry back to the mainland. I arrived behind a queue of cars 500m long, all wanting to get onto the ferry. I filtered through the lot of them (That's the advantage of riding a motorbike) and got ...
