... The next morning I was on my way to Podstrana just south of Split. I first rode to Knin with a 20km detour due to road work, then along the lake Peruēko to Sinj before rejoining the motorway direction Split and then short ride to Podstrana where I stayed 2 days at Villa Mikrut.
Split is a beautiful city buzzing with tourists. It is the second largest City in Croatia.

The rest of the trip was uneventfull. We did some shoping for dinner and went back to the tent. In the meantime we had gotten new neighbours... They were Polish and not noisy at all!
We checked our route for tomorrow, because we are moving on to the next campground on the Island Krk.

Comme vous le verrez dans le photos, je suis revenu sur mes ...

... the alley ways looking at the local shops until we met for pre-dinner drinks and a game of scrabble in front of our hotel overlooking the marina until we were to join a free walking tour at 6pm. Highly informative tour guide provided a great overview of the history of the island and town of Hvar. Can't believe how many times the place was invaded and was burnt down. Citizens were at one stage taxed on the number of glass windows they had as you were deemed rich ...

... inflated piece of rubbish with no oars. But they had to get back to the boat somehow, so they used their hands to paddle back in the dodgy dingy. The next morning we drove all around the harbour looking for our dingy, but to no avail. Uh oh. At least we had managed to get our hands on a replacement, so we had to hope that it would do and we wouldn't be in trouble at the end of the week... Our boat was running out of fresh water, so Jens took us to a small marina and we ...
