... ll check to see if other sailboats are moored instead of relying on the book's 10 year old information. So from Pakostane we set off to Biograde where a near collision put us all on edge. Don't know why some people want to race in narrow passageways. Did I mention how glad I am that Stan can handle this 44 foot moving target! Biograde is a delightful town. From the Turks to the Crusaders to the Venetians to WW II and the war of ...

After unloading the bike, I had enough time to explore the waterfalls and lakes for the rest of the afternoon. This is the oldest National Park in Southern Europe and the largest in Croatia. Situated close to the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was added to the ...

The Franciscan Monastery contains the oldest working apothecary (pharmacy) in the world and one of Europe's best manuscript libraries. The pedestrian boulevards are lined with cafes, fountains and ...

... we have to hire sun lounges, the ones in Hvar cost 100 Kuna which is about $19.

I liked Hvar because we spent the whole day at the beach, and then got an icecream before we went back to Split on the ferry.

We went back to the apartment and Mum made us Cevapis, Chicken and Salad. I love Cevapis, which are little long burgers.

A 7:00 AM ferry was our one and only chance off the island of Vis Croatia and as I already said, we could have stayed there for many more days but it was time to move on to see what else there is to see. We caught the ferry on time, no problem well except that the place we thought we were to buy tickets was closed until 9:00AM and the gate keeper dude at the ferry pointed across the harbor where they were selling them for this early ferry. Mike gave me his backpack ...
