... The family has still not arrived by 8:30pm, so we excused ourselves and headed off to our room. The bedroom opens onto a patio that has the bathroom and a kitchenette on one side. It is very well set up, compact but with sufficient room out on the balcony. Our neighbours, the boy's parents are smokers, so we didn't stay out on the balcony at all. Bedtime after a good day with a little travel and a lovely swim in the beautiful blue water. ...

I left the City of Hvar early morning and rode the twisty road back to Sucuraj to take the ferry back to the mainland. I arrived behind a queue of cars 500m long, all wanting to get onto the ferry. I filtered through the lot of them (That's the advantage of riding a motorbike) and got ...

... is not happy. "That's very expensive camera gear there" she says in her American drawl. We apologies and strike up a conversation with an Australian couple over the hide of the elephant size obnoxious American woman and her very expensive camera gear. Stoooopid cow. Anyway the Australian couple who were great for convo and sharing holiday stories reminded me of the form to remove the gratuities fee so now we are $660 richer. Yay. It's a non compulsory fee that ...
