On 9/9 we rode the Alpine Express gondola, then the Metro Alpine subterrainian cable to reach the Ice Pavillion, the largest ice grotto in the world. In the grotto there were pathways with many ice sculptures along the way. Above the grotto was the world's highest revolving restaurant where we had lunch and enjoyed the scenery, including some dedicated skiers on the glacier. After lunch we went ...

... It was a nice warm, sunny day so the walk was very pleasant. No luggage but rain on the first two runs over.
The last time was as I headed to france, via Italy.
Because it was sunny I got to see some of the mountains on the last run, just got wet and saw clouds the first day.
Also cyclists were out in the sun, and whilst the fella I chatted to at the top was enjoying his riding and meeting a friend there at ...

Last night in Luzern we were entertained with a lightning and thunder storm. The morning clear skies - we walked along the lakeshore, lovely. We ventured into the old town Luzern. Had to see the Medieval bridges and the beautiful old buildings decorated with ornate designs or scenes. Luzern is a beautiful city. We travel from Luzern to Zermatt by train. We have three trains with transfer times of around 5 minutes in between so ...
