      ... and the rest of her is a dull bronze. Backtracked and found our restaurants tucked away in side streets and the gate. Nearby are other Roman ruins that indicate quite a change in street level over the last two millennia. Walked to and along the river and briefly watched some canoeists doing some slalom course work.
