Wine tasting and ice cream today, doesn't get much better! Made some sandwiches and headed out for a drive up to a couple of places on Cayuga Lake, one of the Finger Lakes, where we were sure to find wine (the guys at work will be pleased to note that we went to the places recommended by my lonely planet guide).

So the reason we'd gone up to the parents place was because deer hunting season starts today. Came back and made a proper American sandwich with 3 layers of meat and 4 layers of cheese. All this took most of the day so we spent the evening watching DVD’s (Battlestar Galactica) and chilling out.

The I90 is an older road, but its smooth sailing. Not a lot of traffic, and a beautiful sunny day. At Rochester I took the 390 down to the south end of the state. What a beautiful drive.
