Palmar tent lodge- We did not like our stay and it seems they charge you for every little thing possible. The food was good though! The accommodations are not comfortable and there is essentially no shower.

24 hour countdown!

In 24 short hours we will be headed to the airport to start our journey to Panama. 4 flights, 3 layovers, and 20 hours later we will land in Panama on Saturday night. In 15 days we will visit four different areas; Panama City, Bocas Del Toro, Boquete and Pedasi (Azuro coastline).

I am not even close to being packed and I still must make it through another work day tomorrow. So I'll keep this short and sweet and cross my fingers Friday night comes quickly!

The town is doing good things that locals are excited about. It just got a new movie theater and is in the works for getting a swimming pool. We saw the Russian Orthodox Cathedral, which has a cemetery outside. The cemetery was interesting. because the crosses have an extra cross. I'm not sure what the ...

... meals and watching lots of movies. It was really nice to be able to watch TV and cook and lounge around in a real house as opposed to my shared employee housing in Seward. On Saturday we ventured out and went kayaking on the river! It was a bit windy but we ventured across the river to an island that had a couple sandy beaches we could stop at. We stopped a couple times and ventured around. I tried some yoga poses and we watched boats go by, including a ...
