... and less visited part of the coast, but it is just as scenic as spots closer to Portland and Eugene to the north. Here we got a bit lost and turned around by a gang of white geese walking the mean streets down by the jetties at the river mouth. I was thinking of staying in Portland for a few nights, but after some research, the parks that are close to downtown are on the airport runway so not a good choice for sleeping.
