Caught up on some RV chores and laundry and was ready to go early the morning of departure. I was thinking of staying in Portland for a few nights, but after some research, the parks that are close to downtown are on the airport runway so not a good choice for sleeping. ... the border of Oregon.

Hey!! There is a great campground just past Brookings Oregon. Harris campground is $21 a night full hookups and beautiful scenery ,wonderful hiking and Brookings isn't even a mile away!!!

We are forest service camp tonight. It is sheltered from the wind, and very pretty but not close to the beach. OH well, maybe tomorrow.
