... the longest lines were at McDonalds, Pizza Hut, KFC, and Taco Bell. We don't even want to admit where we ate, but suffice it to say the key factor was not cuisine so much as free refills on Coke (it was hot that day). The mall has a large supermarket, so we stocked up on a few items that were not available at the Coope in Atenas and headed back towards Casita Mango. On the way, we scouted a golf course just off the main road that ...

Today was a good day. Another long day, but 'twas good. I went to school again today and it was so weird once again. They seriously do NOTHING. Today, Sofi only had 2 classes. One for 4 hours before lunch and one for 4 hours after lunch. In the morning, we had a class called something like English Conversations. We ate tamales, a typical Costa Rican dish of Navidad. It's made ...

    Enjoy the tour.

P.S. These videos were shot the day before I left Escazu, but I thought I'd introduce you to my space right away. I did not stay in the student apartment, but in the house with Luis and Nuria. There was ...

We had a van pick us up at our hotel at 7am for the three hour ride to the airport, which was fairly uneventful (at least after Kevin slipped and fell - hard! - in the parking lot trying to help load our bags into the van. I should have left that to the professional!). Looking at a map, the roads basically made a big "C" from Quepos to San Jose - if we had flown that same route, I'm sure it ...
