    ... and then ended the night with guaro shots and a cocktail/beers at a local karaoke bar. It was a pretty fun night! But after the last hostel, I've come to the realization that I'm too old for bunk beds. That was more fun when I was only 3 feet tall and much more enthusiastic about ladders.

    ... very small. It was so beautiful, I couldn't believe the number of colours visible in the rocks and plants of the crater. It is the highest active volcano in Costa Rica at 3432m which is also by far the highest I have ever been! You could feel the lack of oxygen in the atmosphere, I ran up a steep bit of slope and could feel I was much more breathless than I would normally be.
