... The Pit Rib House, recommended by the lady on reception. Apparently they do some amazing BBQ food, all cooked over fresh burning wood. We had actually passed this on the way to the hotel, but hadn't spotted it.....

When we got there, the smell outside from the burning wood was just great (yes, I know I am weird). On entering the restaurant it was like a shrine to a bygone era. Almost like some of the places I expect to find on Route 66 next week. Well, ...

We then sat on the Tarmac for 30 minutes which was followed by an uneventful ...

... hand. To which he responded by screaming bloody murder. Then he proceeded to kick and punch the living **** out of the vending machines. It was insane. Probably his worse tantrum to date. Throwing himself on the ground because he hurts his hands. James nearly dying of embarrassment assisted me in picking him up and putting him in the van. I am sure it looked like ...

... to immerse himself in both worlds thus, was the most homesick. Upon going to Cape Town, I plan to be “where I am.” I plan on not getting caught up in what is going on back in the states but really soak up the people and experiences presented in Cape Town. In no way does this mean my friends and family back home mean any less to me. Their presence will be with me just in a different way.

In addition there is much I hope to take away and gain from ...
