    Roscoe, Gwen, Karl and Grandma Gail made the long drive up to Chicago to pick Terra up from the airport. Great hugs and huge smiles, fantastic reunion. We all headed over to great-Grandma Deloras' house. We had a wonderful over night visit with Great-Grandma Lulu and Great Uncle Ron.     ... in the 14th arrondissement (aka neighborhood or district) known as Montparnnase. It is on the left bank not in a tourist section, more residential but still in the Paris "ring".

    ... but a lovely place with al fresco dining and excellent service. My first full Italian meal consisted of a beautiful salad, champagne and smoked cheese risotto, and hazelnut gelato. Deliscioso! The remainder of the evening was spent resting and googling the proper way to use a bidet. Today we learned alot! To the girls: I think I made it through my jet lag crash without insulting any Italians by leaning on any castles, villa walls, art work, etc. I was careful this time! Love to ...

    ... both the standard and vegetarian tasting menus. They bill it as an 8-course tasting menu but there are actually 10 courses listed on both menus. I ordered eight of the courses from the vegetarian menu and two from their standard menu.
