... a treat & took us the scenic way around. Our lovely host Estelle greeted us with a lovely afternoon tea ( almost dinner time) & we settled into our room. A very peaceful environment as a far cry from the hustle & bustle of people & cities that we had been used to over the last 4-5 weeks. Forget how long we've been away. To cut a long story short ( tired) we drove back into the village of Wadebridge ( about 5 mins) & had a lovely Indian meal. Tasty. That's all. Sleepy ...

Awoke to a glorious day with bright blue sky. Lazy morning and instead of fishing villages we headed to the town of Minions (and no we didn't see any little yellow people sprouting home truths!) and the Bodmin Moor - I have always wanted to walk on the moors after reading about it in books over the years! Awoke to sunshine (made a nice change!). Headed to Fowey - yet another little fishing village and just as quaint and gorgeous as the others. Mel managed to drive through the centre of town down all those skinny streets that really have to be seen to be believed. Even saw a Range Rover manage to squeeze its way down those streets. Greg got himself a free haircut with a barber who was in ...

... Caught the bus back to met the boys. The bus drives down the little roads we have been driving along which is a little hair raising at times! Not sure why there are not more accidents probably because they are used to driving down these skinny roads and avoiding oncoming traffic. Boys were still friends. Back home to the cottage for dinner. Town name of the day ...

... gardens with animation and sound. Even building fire, and a dragon. Great sense of humor too with hidden characters and funny names of adverts etc. drove to Plymouth and parked near the Jetty in the old port. Couldn't find the Mayflower 1623 exhibit and finally the tourist bureau told us they are refurbishing and have pulled down ...
