Left Tomah Wisconsin early this morning knowing we had another long day of driving. Goal was to get home around 8:00 PM and we made it right on the dot! It felt good to walk into the house. It did not feel like we had been gone for 40 days! Speedometer says we traveled 10,000 miles! WOW! We sure saw many, many wonderful sights. Makes us so appreciative of this great country ...

Scheduled for departure on 8/8/14 and this time we're off to Prague to begin our first visit to the more eastern reaches of Europe.

Hopefully, I'll have a little more time to share our explorations with you here. For now, it's time to dive into packing!

      Cheers,
      Susan

So after that I needed some retail therapy to help dissolve my annoyance of travelling ...

We descended towards Columbus and landed at an airstrip called Madison County. It was not much more than a runway, some hangars and a fuel pump, but it was enough for our ...

... road, dotted line (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 – eyes cross again), trucks (oh geeeeez, more road kill), (look up) clouds. I’ve been able to make out clouds in the form of a duck, an angel and Chester Cheetah (perhaps a brain pattern correlated directly to my cheesy breakfast) – surprising and yet somewhat exciting. Never know what’s going to happen next…..
