Left Tomah Wisconsin early this morning knowing we had another long day of driving. Goal was to get home around 8:00 PM and we made it right on the dot! It felt good to walk into the house. It did not feel like we had been gone for 40 days! Speedometer says we traveled 10,000 miles! WOW! We sure saw many, many wonderful sights. Makes us so appreciative of this great country ...
Scheduled for departure on 8/8/14 and this time we're off to Prague to begin our first visit to the more eastern reaches of Europe.

... Columbus. Coming from the Northwest, this is very strange to us. We don't usually have haze that restricts visibility to anything less than 50 miles (except when there are forest fires), so having to climb above something other than clouds is unusual.

... road, dotted line (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 – eyes cross again), trucks (oh geeeeez, more road kill), (look up) clouds. I’ve been able to make out clouds in the form of a duck, an angel and Chester Cheetah (perhaps a brain pattern correlated directly to my cheesy breakfast) – surprising and yet somewhat exciting. Never know what’s going to happen next…..
