... Angeles who had just come back from the Antarctica and grew-up in west LA. And we met a women from Santa Monica, Laurie, who was there on her own for a day or so until her husband followed. Laurie joined us for dinner at an Indian restaurant (recommended by a congregant) and we had quite a pleasant meal. After a short walk around town, it was time to end our first night in Christchurch and New Zealand.             The next day we went on a walking tour of the city.
