... there (cheers Zuckers!). Anyway despite the inadequacies of social media we had a great night with everyone who could make the journey. Once again thank you to everyone who came out to have a bevy with Trace and I; albeit a reminder of how much we miss you all we thoroughly enjoyed the night! Special thanks must also go to the pokie that coughed up 400 large subsidy at the end of the evening. Trace & I were busier than a Jehova's witness at a doors unlimited ...

... across to the city were worth it.

The highlight of the day was the visit to the Nike Missile Site only a mile or so from the lighthouse. The site was home to several missiles that were manned 24/7 during the Cold War. The army personnel could launch a nuclear warhead within 6 minutes of receiving instructions. Fortunately, they never had to. We toured the assembly area and listened to an itneresting talk ...

... but headed to the Golden Gate Bridge. Arrived & headed to find a bathroom......was stoked to find one easily but had to stand in line for twenty minutes. I'm really not sure what some ladies do in there, honestly. Went to the information centre to rent bikes. Got told that they don't rent bikes here & that the closest rental centre was 2 miles away......fail. Decided it was too late in the day to bother wasting our time, and would walk it instead. ...
