So we're at the gate, waiting for our flight. My understanding is that wifi is available on the first leg of our trip, but the DFW->HNL flight does not offer wifi. I will cope.

I barely made it onto the flight. United had someone get my bag specially and handed it to me as I ran out of the terminal. I forgot how awesome lufthansa is. Now for some sleep and food.. the toys for kids on this flight are giant inflatable ...

... I only got to spend 24 hours here, but it was fun. I wen to cheers bar and did the touristy thing properly. I also went to Fanieul Marketplace, which is a bit like a cross between Covent Garden Market and the Bocqueria in Barcelona., so lots of street artists, places to eat local food, and places to socialise and buy local crafts etc. Anyway onward from here to Albany for the night before I go to the conference in Saratoga ...

... immediately explored the Boston Common and Public Garden. It was perfect weather and there were heaps of school groups and kindergarten groups wandering around as well. I was quite surprised at the excursion of the little kids as I have never seen a group that young wandering around the city like that in Australia.
