This is almost back to Niagara Falls but not quite, there are a number of wineries around this area so we are going to visit some tomorrow before we make our way to Whitby. No moose here ...
Heavy rain all night, so I wonder how the water will be for racing? We meet a lovely local staying at the hostel who just happens to be a race official....she's very official, but extremely kind hearted, and she offers to drive us to the course. This will save us a 15min bus ride and then a 1.5km walk, however, both have been pleasant.

... Liz Thompson, very kindly drive us and we spend a lovely evening walking along the main road to view the falls. Niagara is a curious mix of Nth American tack and majestic wonder. It is such a shame to see the ugly side of tourism....Queenstown NZ, has a lot going for it with a more sensitive approach.

For lunch we had some rice paper rolls we bought in China Town yesterday and a hot cup of noodles thanks to our thermos.
