    Nice Place

    from

My boyfriend and I stayed at Olivia by Duval from March 10-12, 2005. Olivia's location is fantastic. Just a block off of Duval Street. The whole place is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. The pool is nice, but somewhat small, and by the time the afternoon comes around is pretty much in the shade. My boyfriend and I stayed in the smallest room that they had, but it was definitely big enough for our needs. All the rooms have their own private bathroom. For the price that they charge for their rooms, this place is a steal! Go check it out. You won't be disappointed.

    Best kept secret

We loved it! where can you go for a great price and quite atmosphire.!!\

I can not say enough good things about it. centrally located, walking diatance from everything, good water pressure, the best beds to sleep in.. comfortable and cozy. Bring a book for the Am because its so nice in the morning for coffee and a porch sit. I liked being able to come home late and every one was considerate, and waking up eary and everyone was considerate... get it... nice people too!!!! quite!! beautiful pool !!!! Cynthia Hwd, Fl

    Great Condo

    from

We spent a week in Key West at the Olivia By Duval. This was a lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. It was located centrally near Duval street where all the action takes place. It was within walking distance of any sites we wanted to see. The personnel were great. I found them to be extremely accomodating and personable.

Kay's Cottage - Great place to stay in Key West!

    from

Kay's Cottage is a great facility in a great location on the island. It is just one block off Duval Street, yet towards the quieter south end away from the hustle and bustle of the north side. Everyone we spoke with who manages the facility was very friendly and helpful. Recommended by a friend, we were looking for an above average place to stay for a reasonable price and found it at Kay's Cottage. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Key West.

    Our favorite place

    from

We go to Key West two to three times per year. Recently, we have begun staying at Olivia by Duval. What a gem!!! The staff is great, the location is great, the price is reasonable, and the rooms have the "keysy" feel. Although it is near Duval St., you hear little of the noise and it is very relaxed. We love it.

    Great deal for a budget

    from

I have stayed here in many of the rooms. In my opinion for the price you can't find any place else with a pool this inexpensive. The staff is very freindly and the rooms are always cleaned. MB ,WV

If you want a safe, clean resonable stop here!!

    from

My new husband and I wanted to get married in Key West. We stayed in the "Captan Quarters Back" and the room was perfect for honeymooners. The staff was great and the room was always spotless. It was the best time we ever had on a Trip and I can not wait to go back. The room had a full kitchen and a murphy bed. It was totally cool. The dates we stayed were 08/24/04-09/01/04.

Olivia by Duval Do NOt Go!

    from

We stayed May 26th and 27th of 2004 in THE CONCH ROOM. I have been to Key West several times, but my boyfriend had not. When we were showed our room he almost REFUSED to stay in it. It was quite dumpy looking considering the $89 a night that we payed. OUCH! (Holes in walls, dirty looking even though it may have been clean.) The worst part was that we had to make a non-refundable deposit so we were stuck staying there. It was not a great step up from the Santa Maria Hotel. I didn't think it was terrible, just a bit of a rip-off. The room, sheets, and towels were clean. It had a bachelor style kitchen, nice ceiling fan and decent air conditioning. I think we would have both been happier at the Wyndham or a nicer guest house. I would have been happier with it if the rates were more around $65. Never again!

    A week in Paradise

    from

My wife and I recently spent a week (7 Nights) in Key West at the Olivia By Duval properties. Our stay was wonderful and we hope to repeat in the future. The management of the properties were very friendly, most accomodating and a joy to be associated with. Our room was very clean and very nicely decorated and led to an atmosphere of complete relaxation. While we were very close to the action on Duval St. we enjoyed quiet relaxing moments at our room. I would recommend this property to anyone wishing to spend a wonderful and affordable vacation in Key West.

... was a little off putting as well. Snuck in a photo for you all to have a squizz as well! After that we wandered down to Mallory Square where they have sunset celebrations every night. Live music, local artists and food vans. It was brilliant. So many people from all around the world, gathered in one spot to watch the sunset. Magical! After that we went to Kermits and tried the famous Key Lime Pie. It was good! We had a slice that had ...

Wednesday, we drove into town and checked out the Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center. They have several displays about the reef and the eco-systems that make up the Key West area.

When we drove up to the Center, we saw that they were preparing the parking area and wharf nearby for the off-shore boat races that will be held here this weekend. We were glad we decided to come to the Center today, as it looks like most of the ...

We saw the southernmost point in the United States but there were people queuing to take a photo in front of it. We saw the outside of Hemingway's House but didn't pay to go inside. There were cute little weatherboard houses everywhere, and plenty of inns and B&Bs.

It took approx an hour from the Everglades to Key Largo with a lunch stop on the way ... at our favourite burger place...you guessed it, Wendy's!

Key Largo wasn't very exciting but now we were on the Florida Keys, there's only one way south to Key West so we turned off the GPS and continued driving. A rain storm came through so we thought we'd stop off at a souvenir shop while the rain was so hard, it was hard to drive in it.

... don't have to be naked, you can just watch. As tempting as that was, we declined. I thought it was very nice of them to offer though! Instead, we crossed the road to Fat Tuesday's, an RnB club. After several slushy cocktails and a couple of hours of dancing I got chatting to a Justin Bieber lookalike who was stood on his own. His name was Topher James and he was a musician who had just moved to Key West and was earning $100 a night! Originally from Chicago, he had flown to Texas ...
