Today is Dee's 66th birthday. She received many Facebook messages, wishing her happy birthday. We had a very good breakfast at the hotel, went to the 7-11 for some bottled water, and then took a shuttle down to the LA port.

We checked in, then waited to embark our vessel, The Crown Princess. We got on board around 3 p.m. and went to our rooms.

"Someone" must have told them it was Dee's birthday as our cabin door was decorated with a ...

#16 Laptop cable extension lock - $15 new: This lock may not be essential but puts your mind more at ease. It has an optional screeching alarm if shaken or the cable is detached/cut. Even if for only having it for while you are sleeping I believe it may be worth while.

We arrived at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro on the
    hotel shuttle. The boarding
process went pretty smoothly with the exception of a few line-ups but we were
on-board by 1:00 p.m. – just in time for lunch.

Other than getting acquainted with the ship our first couple
of days has been fairly quiet.
Yesterday afternoon I went to the Serenity section ...
