      ... remarkable for detail, and precise scale for everything from the construction down to the cutlery. Fascinating! One of the unexpected pleasures of the museum visit was watching the dozen or so volunteer artists who were set up around a model, doing charcoal drawings of their interpretations.       ... and played the game of up and down the river, and then had dinner. I'm loving this country and the corn it produces! It's so deliciously good! After dinner, we all just chatted and chilled either inside or around the fire! It was such a quiet night, and the resort was super quiet too, so it was such a nice night!       The early displays in particular were really enjoyable. There were a number showing special historical events, especially battles. There was one showing a devastated town in Germany in 1945 as well as a Pioneer villages and some Civil War scenes. The highlight was a huge display representing the Trans Canada railway.
