... into town. First stop was Parliament House where we joined a tour at11.30. Interesting history of Victoria/ Vancouver Is and their parliament. Walked along Government St, stopped at a few shops, bought some souvenirs. Checked out The Empress Hotel and booked high tea for Wednesday. Walked home through the Beacon Gardens. Now enjoying wine and nibbles as we keep in touch through our various forms of media. That is other than Peter, who is resistant to any form of such.
