... the mines so i was surprised at how spectacular they were. Definitely glad i went. The only slight dissappointments were getting pictures proved to be difficult and my battery ran out, thankfully near the end. Also we had to wait a fair while to get back out because of a large school party in front of us. Our last day and we had breakfast in the square again - lovely.
Had a wander round and Deb got a few stock images.
We got the train back to the Airport, the flight was on time and we picked up a Chinese take away on the way back for our tea.
Just got back in time to sort out all the ebay items that sold tonight. Lots of packing and posting to do.

... remained. A few of the buildings were restored and we saw a building containing many latrines and wash basins, which were simply a concrete hole (no paper, no water). This was supposed to service 2000 prisoners twice a day (once before and once after work), and many missed out. We saw sleeping areas, where there were three-layer bunks crowded into a building originally designed as a stable. These bunks would sleep at least 5 men to a layer and the buildings were freezing in the winter ...
Krakow - Noticably Good
... the collections of things that people brought with them on the trains, thinking they were heading to a new life. It really humanised the who ordeal for me.
After this rather heavy experience we were both feeling low and decided that it was best to go for dinner as it was around that time. The city was buzzing with world cup fever, and walking around as the Spain versus Germany game came to a close was really uplifting.
