... are all unique and the shops are as varied. One shop, Galena General Store has more hot sauces than I've ever seen in one place. I know Dick Wilson and Dave Millross would have been in "Hot Sauce" heaven.
The town sits near a river and the entrance has flood gates as that river can overflow. Just a unique place. You will enjoy the pictures soon. This would be a great road trip destination for us motor home junkies.

What a great day. Other than the upcoming wedding next week, this stop has been a real treat and one we are sure glad we made. That is the true adventure of a “journey”.
On a snowy early morning we drove to Madison, met Leo who dropped us off at the bus station just in time to board. Nice and easy trip to O'Hare airport in Chicago with plenty to time to go through Security and rest and get on board Air India's super big flight to New Delhi non-stop. Totally easy but not too comfortable, uneventful trip, lots of food, could sleep with some pills to help, saw an Indian movie on corruption.
... We found my bag and I got to cuddle my puppies. We headed to the car to take Kyle home.
Kyle and Dad opened their gifts from me in the car because I didn't know which one was which, so they just opened them. We dropped Kyle off at about 1am and headed home. I was so tired that I slept with my head in the dog bed all the way home. Mom was trying to talk to me, but that just wasn't working because my brain was too tired to function.
We miscalculated our arrival time in Warren by a lot, so after dropping Beth off in Harvard, we were racing toward what we thought was Warren, but sadly, ended up not being so. Got a little turned around, went a bit further south than we should have, but after some helpful geography lessons from our sponsor, we arrived safe and sound at the fairgrounds and fell promptly asleep.
