December 27th-Friday- Blue sky and 29 degrees, but no more snow----yet! Have some plans for the day but will all depend on the weather. At least the new snow covered up the old dirty snow and it looks better out there now. We ended up staying home all day-I did a lot of little things but Phil was bored. We were sitting around at 6, not ready to go, when Doris came over- and told us it was 6 for the party, not 7 like we thought! She stayed while we quickly dressed, grabbed some wine ...

After heading out of Bar Harbor, we drove south toward Boston. Neither Teri or Toni have been to this area, so we decided to stop off before we checked into our hotel at Salem. There was some sort of event going on in Salem and we were able to enjoy the activities and the sites in Salem.
I had no idea that it was part of the National Parks system. ...
