Historic Route 66 Tacky Tourist Stop #2:

Homes in this area of Kitengela have higher occupancy and are a mix of condos and standalone houses. Flats in Kitengela EPZ would rent out between say Kes 13,000 to Kes 22,000 depending upon the location plus quality of finishing. The standalone homes in this area would most likely rent anywhere between Kes 30,000 and Kes 50,000 being dependent ...

... it was along to Vinita and Foyil - in between was the Totem Pole Park, the tallest over 90 feet high. It was sorted by a local artist and fiddle maker who mixed the concrete in buckets - no wonder it took him 11 years. we stopped at the end of the road as there was a place advertising lunch - it wasn't open and the mannequin on the verandah was interesting.
