Leaving Devil's Tower after a restful 2 nights the top of the peak was shrouded in fog and chilly . Yesterday, it was in the eighties and very sunny. We drove up to the visitor's center located close to the top. The area around the tower is considered scared by the Native Americana's who still have services here. A spiritual aura was all around us.

Left Deadwood mid morning and drove 200 miles to Sheridan, South Dakota. It was a very grey, wet and foggy day so the scenery wasn't much unfortunately.

Thursday and most of Friday have been driving days- leaving Glacier and dropping down through Kalispell and Missoula, then east through Butte, Bozeman and Billings and down to Sheridan, Wyoming. I am coming down to "Longmire Days" in Buffalo, Wyoming, the real setting for Durant, and home to Sheriff Walt Longmire of the A&E Number One hit show, Longmire.
