... talking cars at breakfast and in the parking lot as we were loading our luggage. Some of the fellas were spot cleaning their "babies" before a day on the road. Most were headed to Spearfish, SD for another car show on Friday. What beautiful machines!

Left Deadwood mid morning and drove 200 miles to Sheridan, South Dakota. It was a very grey, wet and foggy day so the scenery wasn't much unfortunately.

Stopped in a small town called Spearfish for lunch at the Sanford Pub & Grub - great pub with lots of different memorabilia around the walls and good food too.

Sheridan, Wyoming is where we decided to get off the road for two weeks and put a temporary hold on our "life of leisure". We had joined a group called "RV Care-A-Vanners", who are composed basically of full-time RVer's traveling around the country building homes for Habitat For Humanity. We signed up for a home building in Sheridan, and it also happened to coincide with their annual Rodeo Week. The home to be built was for a single, low-income mom ...

June 22, 2013 - We left the Rally today after one more class on Fire Safety!
