      Bonjour amis et la famille!
      Hello Friends and Family My trip is coming up soon. I leave for Paris from Chicago at 8pm on Aer Lingus on Oct. 1. I have a 4 hour layover in Dublin and then I arrive in Paris at 4:30pm Oct. 2. Some of you have asked for an itinerary so I thought I'd share.

      ... Palace of Versailles. It's visually very impressive and in the muggy heat, a dip in there look a very tempting option but I'm not sure it's permitted.

      ... the game was delayed until 8:15 pm (a 2 hour delay) due to torrential rain and thunder. It's hard to believe but the evening turned out to be a perfect "first day of summer" baseball game.
