... on the platform, some passengers listened inside or out, and some danced. The steam engine was relocated to the other end of the train for a return trip to Bodmin. On arrival we were served tasty fish and chips in take-away containers which we ate inside the carriage.

... then there's a long walk to the stones. So we leave and go into the village itself and to the pub for a drink. The pub is old with a well in the middle - covered over of course - it's 86 feet deep and has at least one body in it. Near the pub are some of the stones anyway so we didn't need to pay and walk!
