Today we left Shreveport and crossed the Mississippi River at Vicksburg. We turned off the interstate (I-20) shortly after crossing the river and went to the Vicksburg National Military Park. After a lengthy search for an allowed picnicking spot, we enjoyed a picnic and the beautiful day.

After breakfast, we travelled from Natchez (Vidalia, LA) to Vicksburg, MS where we first visited the Biedenharn Coca Cola Museum in downtown Vicksburg.
