      Mitch and I left for Crooked Creek Parking parking lot, Yellowwood State Forest, after work to drop my car off at the end of the trail, well 2 miles shy of the end. We got to Morgan-Monroe State Forest around 8:00 PM and setup camp at the campground. We were the only campers that night and was fortunately the only night we had rain.

      ... and one within the last 4 miles. We also had a lot of road/gravel road walking again today. We actually road walk a little too much near the end because the road we needed was not blazed, map marker #22. From map marker #22 to #23 there is zero blazes. We stopped only once while we were on US 46, not the safest walk or stopping point. We did notice a couple of places ...

      ... and I started to have foot and knee issues. I later found that my hiking boots were ready to be retired, lack of tread and sole. We stopped for water at an unmarked creek and at lunch for approximately 30 minutes.

      ... hike. We stopped at Bear Creek Lake for our lunch but found it too windy and cold to stay too long. The water their didn't look very appetizing so we decided to move ahead and find water elsewhere. The perfect resting and water fill creek was found at mark #7 on the Hoosier Hiking Councils map. We saw many other creeks that entire day but not as nice as this one.

      ... to Christ and kept their babies. A beautiful story... Pastor Janice told us about a young mom from another African country who came to Kenya with two siblings. One needed surgery and she had no help or family. This was a perfect example of the need for safe families in Kenya. God is at work. We need to continue to follow the path. Sunday is the launch during Sunday services. Please pray for a successful launch. ...
