As we drove up the road the river next to us was illuminated in the sun’s light and I wanted to stop for a photo op but I always decide that AFTER I pass the opportunity. We braved the switchbacks once again. This time I got pictures although they do not do justice to the sharpness of the turn. You literally need to almost stop and ...

We're learning a little of the Canadian way of life along the way, such as a late night could be 9pm! Arriving at a restaurant at 8pm , you will either find it closed, or if not, the kitchen is likely to be, likewise coffee shops at 10am. I'm not sure how Spanish tourists manage here. Two nights in Banff has been lovely. This morning started with a helicopter ride. These Rockie Mountains are truly amazing! We were very lucky! The helicopters haven't flown for a few days because the weather hasn't been kind enough. But they felt it would be good enough today and delayed our flights by half an hour.

That gave us time to go into Banff and pick up the laundry. Then we headed out to a ...

... a great experience none the less.

By the time we got back to the Discovery centre, it was 6pm, so after getting fuel for the car, we headed back to Canmore. We made good time and got back just after 8pm and headed to the restaurant located in our Hotel. Not the best dining experience, but I was so hungry, I would eat anything.

Tomorrow is a rest day, with a sleep in and just having a look around ...
