... a nautical motif or designed in an old-timey nature and painted in wild colors which certainly help to attract the tourists that they cater to. Streets are brick - think grey and unevenly placed, not red and meticulously groomed - which I found to be awesome. The start of the last tour of the trip. I got up at 6 am, showered, dressed and then ate breakfast in the room. I got ready for the day, packed my bags and used the internet. ... that were all far too pricey for me. I did take shelter and spent 15 minutes at a time longingly looking at jewellery as the worst rain storms passed. It was still pouring down and showing no signs of easing up so that was it. I rose just before 6 to a sunny but somewhat windy morning. Our tour
was at 9. Block Island is shaped somewhat like a pork chop, somewhere
near 10 miles long and 6 miles wide. There are several "ponds", I think
a few are fresh water but most are actually mostly enclosed bays. There
