    ... came back from fishing again, nothing not even a bite. Bill is still down there. No one is catching so I don't feel so bad. Went down to the mouth of the Kosilof and watch the dip netters. Person can dip net if you have lived in AK for one year. It's a big net that you hold in water at the mouth of the river and the fish swim in. Then you drag the net on shore. 25 salmon for head of house, 10 flounder and 10 fish for each person in household. That's alot of ...

    ... 7.5 hours we fished. With nary a nibble! There were a dozen other boats near is as we drifted down the Kasiloff river, and n o one aught a fish. Very discouraging. But that's fishing.

    so, being slow learners, we are going back tomorrow to try again. Stay tuned.

    ... pounds. Not the best fishing, seeing these can get to be over 400 pounds! Out of 6 fisherman, this was the norm, with one going about 30 pounds. Dick and others came back in with sore arms! You see they were fishing on the bottom - up to 240 feet, with 5 POUND weights!

    ... we visited Seward, which is pretty much built around fishing, as well as the Exit Glacier, which is part of the nearby Chugach National Forest.
