    ... this place unencumbered by the constant worry of having cancer, loving some one dealing with it, or being constantly reminded of the tolls of war on families.     ... the city was like. It had buildings like Melbourne but still sort of felt like a ghost town for a working day. We found out that there is a tunnel system under the ground with all shops and food outlets for the staff. We went and sussed it out at lunch and there was people everywhere - exactly like Melbourne at lunchtime.     The kids couldn't walk past 'The Pleasure Pier' without convincing the grandparents that it would be fun to try the rides, so in we went and the kids (and Mase) went on some stomach churning rides, including a rollercoaster which was the ride of the day.

    ... and my bags are full already so couldn't really go on a shopping spree, but nether less it was great to see. The mall was huge and had an ice skating rink in the middle of it! Sunday, randy and Teresa took us to Galveston. An island south of Houston. The beach is dirty from all the oil and the Mississippi River dumping dirty water in close by - but the area was awesome.
