" Houston we have not liftoff "

A travel blog entry by sa2013 on Jan 30, 2015

Houston airports relatively new " shuttle tram train " gets you efficiently between gates that go on for ever. No 1.5 mile jaunts through the airport from two years ago . We kept a look out for Clay, the awesome United steward from last stopover. No Clay but someone there to replace the cranky, aged, Rob Roy beach seeking bull in a china shop stewardess with a lip stick smile from last time around.....and another carry on baggage over filled flight that brought out ...

Changes I made

A travel blog entry by cth-road on Jan 28, 2015

Yesterday, I tried to fix my stay at a guest ranch in the Texas Hill Country. However, the ranch of my choice is closed for a week due to a family wedding. I have checked for alternatives, but I either do not like the ranch or it is way too expensive. Therefore, I will jump on a horse in New Mexico or Arizona. only for the price, but it is a cool spot and this is also the feelings of our
new friends, Amy, Janet, Frank and Sheryl. I am sure that young 12-year-old
Bryan is going to miss us, as he had no one else in the park to talk with, and
I am hoping that the Childers will remember us as good guests to their park.

Thanks
for reading. Next, Were Walking (driving) to New Orleans. (Fats)

Its all good!

... and my bags are full already so couldn't really go on a shopping spree, but nether less it was great to see. The mall was huge and had an ice skating rink in the middle of it! Sunday, randy and Teresa took us to Galveston. An island south of Houston. The beach is dirty from all the oil and the Mississippi River dumping dirty water in close by - but the area was awesome. We spent time at an attraction place - they had an indoor rain forest, aquarium and an old paddle boat that we went ...

We headed out this morning from Port Allen, LA for Houston, TX. On the drive today we first tried to go to the Lafayette Museum of Science because we saw a billboard advertising the Star Wars attraction. When we stopped for gas we looked it up and the Star Wars exhibit was no longer going on, so we got back on the road for Houston. The next billboard that caught our interest was a sign for Candyland ...
