Friends are awesome! Well, at least my friends are... After a hard night of golfing at Top Golf, we slept in at Tacy's place. Nothing like a comfortable bed, with no check-out time to create laziness in two dudes. About 11:00 am, I decided that we should attempt to make a day of it and head out for an adventure. ... WE are amazed, that, for a 8 1/2 year old coach with 74,000 miles, it is completely, spotlessly perfect inside. Nothing seems to have been used or abused in any way. Even the felt in the window sills, which gather and hold dirt and dust horribly, look brand new! Hard to figure out how they put 74,000 miles on it without using anything but the driver's seat!
... and my bags are full already so couldn't really go on a shopping spree, but nether less it was great to see. The mall was huge and had an ice skating rink in the middle of it! Sunday, randy and Teresa took us to Galveston. An island south of Houston. The beach is dirty from all the oil and the Mississippi River dumping dirty water in close by - but the area was awesome. We spent time at an attraction place - they had an indoor rain forest, aquarium and an old paddle boat that we went ...
... formal night in the MDR, movies by the pool at night, rock wall, ice skating show, bar trivia, the list goes on. Somewhere in there we squeezed in some naps.

We snorkeled and played on the beach. Lunch was provided and included bbq chicken, rice & beans. Water toys were $10 for the entire day.
