      We spent most of yesterday and today preparing and filling the Motorhome ready for our 4 week trip. This meant endless trips up and downstairs and in and out of the MH with bedding, towels, clothes etc etc.

      ... narrow roads and a creek fording to reach the Acres Down carpark. Fortunately we had a 'text' description of the 5 km walk and didn't get lost. Along the way we saw Larch trees, pines, a dog, a horse with its rider, and a bicycle.       ... time for a beer but no the pub was shut!

      Lonely horses - Walking through what was the old airfield we passed horses which are all pegged to ground with a rather short length of rope so they cannot run around or find shade or water. A lot are owned by Gypsies who have rules of their own! It seemed a very cruel and sad way to keep an animal.
