Four weeks
Just four weeks to go and I just want to be settled on board with the real world, and Christmas , left behind. I still need to order money and am checking the exchange rates daily its still going up so hang on. If it starts to go down then I buy before it looses any more. Tits and more!
... with a toad. Then the motorhome pitches up, gets the awning out and parks car under the awning - didn't realise that's what they're for. I thought the awning was for those warm sunny days when you sat out in the evening with a barbie and a gallon or two or wine. Pehaps I'm being a big optimistic about the evenings in the UK!!!

Doing nothing all day
... test our ability to 'live' in Monty without any outside entertainment. And it worked. It was warm, comfortable and with enough space to do the things we want to do without tripping over each other. We were forced into this because it rained for 36 hours non stop. Getting Monty ready
... six cars! Car moved and went to fire up Monty - another campervan parks up in the space. Another negotiation!! Eventually Monty is able to get out and off to fill up with diesel.
Once David arrives home and gets scrubbed down, we set off to the New Forest to our planned stop at Sway. Fish and chips picked up in Brockenhurst on the way.

... the middle of the afternoon, however, she has successfully shrugged off the sea-sickness.
The ship put on the usual end-of-voyage chocolate extravaganza, where we got to sample cakes and more cakes made of chocolate and other goodies. I did pretty well here.
