    ... in Effingham, IL to stay for the night but with temps in the mid 80's we found a campground just outside of Effingham....Camp Lakewood Campground....31.00 cash.....and stayed there so we could have electricity for AC. Had canned beef, pre-made mashed potatoes, peas & carrots for supper with red wine. DELICIOUS!!!

A brief explanation into the inner workings of the delivery and storage of the beer before a talk through the under ground cave system the original German founder of the lager discovered and used.

    ... s Mound" --- we were curious and weren't quite sure what it was. Well, it's a ski area. Since the Midwest doesn't have mountains, they have man-made hills which they use for skiing during the winter and call them mounds. Bruce's Mound was 'closed for the season' of course.

    ... with the most beautiful view. I think we have the best site. Like I said, we'll be here for a few more days before we head to Minnesota. I'll be sure to get some pictures posted. You'll see what I mean about beauty. Wish you could all be here to enjoy/take it all in.
