... a lot of bear poo on the trail though. After the trail we regrouped with Mandy (from New Zealand, living in Australia), Brad (from Australia), Pam (Mandy's mother) and our tour guide Taylor who took us to see the giant Sequoias. ... Two huge vertical cliffs, El Capitane and Half Dome, and lots of other mountains and cliffs. Glen told us about how el Capitaine is a mecca for rock climbers some who take up to 7 days to climb it sleeping in suspended hammocks. Competitive speed climbers do it in less than a day.

Next stop on the Yosemite loop was Bridal Veil falls. Very high and unfortunately very thin this year. Still beautiful though. Thousands of cars. ...
