Started off with a walk across the Golden Gate Bridge (again) but some hadn't done it before. Cold and windy and foggy - as it should be, then off we headed in our van into the country side. Part of the journey was over the Richmond Bridge that just went on and on and on, curving over the bay.

Michael jugged the rope first, then me. I went last to manage the rope we were trailing behind from the rappel at the rim, being sure it didn’t get snagged on the rock as we contoured around the spire, upwards in a corkscrew fashion. We needed this rope to Tyrolean across at the top.

... track anyway. Even though we had to share Yosemite with the Memorial Day weekend warriors, it was still undoubtedly one of the most memorable places we have visited. I guess that's why everyone else was there too. Tomorrow we head to a motel and look forward to not having to line up for a shower.
