The bus took over an hour but included some fantastic views as we climbed out of the valley. The driver, Herb, was also a fountain of knowledge about all things Yosemite and he must of annoyed our guide as he effectively stole most of his material!

... in California the water going off them made mists of water from the wind. There was a giant rock called half dome and I did wonder, where did the other half of the apple go, Seean. Another thing that we did was see the giant sequoias which are a type of tree I reckon some trees in New Zealand are bigger apart from the huge, giant, massive one which had a hole burned in it from fire... ... We took a short nap before heading out to the trails here and we are both still real itchy for some reason and i got these red spots on my ankles i noticed when i put my boots on. Oh yea isnt this the first of april? ;-) Anyways ignoring that last paragraph, no service there so just a quick post here for now. More tomorrow, then we head back across california to Sonoma Valley to meet one of Jies old friends ...

We headed back around 5 for a 1 and half hour drive to go grab pizza! Nomnomnomnom. I gobbled that thing up. It was chicken, jalepeno, Olive, cheese, cheese, cheese, cheese, cheese, cheese, tomato, sour cream, and more cheese. With refillable Dr Pepper, Cherry cola or root beer. Was beautiful! And the NFL was on, Which surprisingly I enjoy :)
... upgraded to drinks petrol very quickly but it is such a lovely car to travel in.
We made a couple of stops but tried to keep them to a minimum. Boys were carrying on as we still hadn't stopped for "lunch" and it was nearly 3pm. Mind you they had been munching on plenty of snacks and drinks along he way. We finally stopped at a McDonalds that was just off the highway, ate there then straight back on our way. ...
