... on Topic 2 then lights out.

Great at talk about sunsets and deadly animals at Sunset. The only human fatality due to wild animals was a deer with his antlers- the rest are shy now. Great explanation of why bears should be allowed to be wild and great bear related stories. Apparently the mountain lions sleep all day and only get interested in you if you look like a quadruped.

Huge fire in our stove and slept better.

... warns of chemicals that are in their cups and straws. The hotels warn of chemicals used in cleaning products. These warning signs are everywhere. But apparently there is no warning needed when you are driving up a mountain with a 1000 foot cliff to one side of the road. Oh, and there are no guardrails either. We are essentially a blowout away from death.

AND on their own but not called mono lake so who knows why this is called that but maybe they got in first however I've not yet come across a duo lake but......oh anyway we are about to tackle Tioga Pass into YoSemite. God only knows why but we pull into a Mobil transport cafe at the beginning of the pass and consume meat loaf (me) and vegetable chilli (Sarah).
