... restaurant.. From the outside, there was a lot of random signs, traffic signs and stuff like that, you get the idea.. And the sign above the door said that we´re entering the „2nd happiest place on in the world“. It took me an embarassing amount of time to figure out what´s 1st. Disneyland. Duhh.

We did a hay ride, the girls went panning for gold, we
all did line dancing (yes including Josh), we cooked smores,
the kids and Ben watched
an outdoor movie, and we enjoyed the pool. It was a very relaxing
place to stop and we decided not to head into the park tomorrow as
planned. Ben is still very sore so we decided to take another day to
just relax. This was $42 a night for the first night (weekend ...
... looking rail protecting you from the sheer drop on the other side! Considering Kate's strong aversion to edges, we did very well to make it all the way! The view was incredible with a close up of the mouth of the falls.
After seeing the falls we sat down for a well deserved lunch of cheese bagels and fruit; we needed to refuel before our final ascent to Yosemite point.
The point is 200m higher than the mouth of the falls and an extra mile or so of walking. ...
... on, and long after the water supply had run out and whilst being passed every 5 minutes by uber fit Californians, we finally made it to the top for some pretty cool views before plucking up the courage for the decent again! Anyway, we made it in the end, and glad we did for the views along the way. Looking at the falls from the valley floor, I can't believe we actually went up there! ...
... headed back to play some cards and chill around the warm cafe - the guys did anyway. The girls were a bit tired. I stayed up late to pick some photos out of my few hundred I had on my phone. We have a 5:30am start and a 10hr drive to Vegas. The city of big lights, big wins, even bigger losses, and hopefully big yummo food. The gang is stocking up on alcohol obviously, and off we go!
