... just outside the park. The next day we arrived at an extremely parched Yosemite. Rivers were dry, lakes were puddles and waterfalls were reduced to mere trickles. The main reason for this is that California is in a record breaking drought at the moment which has subsequently caused wildfires in the Yosemite launching clouds of smoke into the parks valleys and mountains. This did therefore make for a slightly underwhelming impression of the park, however it ...

We stopped at three Napa wineries for tastings: Hagafen, Duckhorn, and Joseph Phelps starting at 10:15am ending at about 4:30pm. Tasted, actually sipped 19 different wines. Oh, correction, I had sips from 19 wines. I think Staci was able to finagle her way into tasting two more wines than the rest of us. ...

Napa wine tour! Today we're touring wine country in our own private limo. What a gorgeous day for it, beautiful blue skies, striated clouds, green rows of vines. Lovely jubbly.

Just what Michelle needs to recover from this morning's wakeup shocker of a bare chested Jeff gallivanting in the kitchen. There are some things that your eyes just aren't ready for that early in the day. The only cure – a drink, and quick!

      First stop - ...
