    ... 500 top jazz artists perform throughout the weekend on 8 stages spread throughout the grounds. About 40,000 were in attendance. We sat in the open air arena at the fairgrounds, a bit back, and first listened to the Wayne Shorter Quartet. Guess I am not a pure jazz fan.
