After having a friend very kindly drive us tothe bus station we caught the NE bus to Heathrow.

We were a bit concerned when the bus which was commencing its journey in Nottingham was not at the stop 25 minutes after the departure time. Nevertheless it turned up and we were on our way. ... waterfalls, hedges, peacocks and Alex (Ahem!). After the cheap walk in the park we promptly headed to the nearest pub to satisfy Alex's insatiable appetite. Think the gut busting triple meat roast dinner did the trick. All in all the cheap walk around the park tallied up to around £50 including entrance, petrol, tea and lunch...not so cheap but definitely cheerful! ...

Due to an Overwhelming rush of Fan Mail from our previous blog, Royal mail have demand that we once again leave the country as there current staffing level just can't cope (thank you for all your letters though...)

There after a short return to the UK, a restock of Home cooked food and bank balances through the generous shift patterns given to us by work, we are once again hitting the road for another 100 day adventure abroad.

Wrong! Visa's for the Chinese mainland have to obtained in your country of residence. You can get a limited visa to travel up to a 100 miles into China from Hong Kong. But no further.

So as the title says, 50 days to go and the excitement is mounting. It is 22 days until I go to Hong Kong and my next blog will tell you all about this trip.

So the flights are booked and its starting to seem so real. We have booked the flights for the 16th September, only 8 days after the wedding so no messing around its time to get out of England.

We arrive in bangkok on the 17th for 1 night then its off to Vietnam!! Cant wait.....but lots between here and there like the ...
