The best view of Sydney!!!

Woo woo we had sun today!! Ok so it was incredibly windy but it was sunny. This morning we got up and did the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb and it was fantastic, worth every penny. The views were amazing and all the preparation they do to make it a great experience was spot on. We wore our own jump suits and then a harness which carried your radio. It was a special radio that sat on your cheek bones instead of in your ears so you could hear what ever ...

Last stop, Austramalasia!

... time) - an early morning hot air balloon ride over the outback, with champagne breakfast too! Very very cool! :)

Leaving Alice we hired a lovely 4x4 Toyota LandCruiser and headed over to Queensland and the East coast, stopped in tiny local towns, cooked on fab free barbecues and slept in comfy caravan parks along with countless oldies - early retirement aussies who just love to head off for months at a time in massive ...

Sydney part 1

... Thats if you can afford the price - $40 per night each. We could not, and therefore only booked in for the one night.Saying that, we got our moneys worth, as we went straight to bed at 7am for a few hours. Feeling refreshed after a short kip, we headed into Sydney that afternoon for a spot of sightseeing. About 40mins walk from the hostel was Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House - I took way to many pics of both, so i can ...

Australia Fair

... have to wait until our trip to Adelaide.

We're probably in Sydney for a couple of weeks if our plans to pick up a couple of fun but useless skills work out; watch this space. Meantime I expect to spend a fair bit of time simply admiring the view, as well as lazing on Manly beach; just had my first swim in three months, although rest assured the water is certainly refreshing...

lots of love from Sydney (I've waited a long time to be able to write that!)
