... that has helped me gain perspective on the world and made me appreciate home. I'm not sure when I'll be back, but I know it'll seem like a better place when I get there. All of this is, at best, the tip of the ice berg. After all, it's only been a week since I left... But it's been one hell of a week - mentally stimulating to say the least, and that's exactly why I'm here. I can only hope the rest of my journey evokes this much thought ...

Alas it was time to say goodbye one more time, it was lovely seeing Louisa again and hopefully our paths will cross again. Back to the hostel where I chilled in my room and chatted to my roomies, a very strange bunch. Didn't much appreciate getting woken up at 2am by the guy in the bunk bed below me having a bit of how's your father ...

After being the last ones dropped off last night, at 7:30pm, we quickly made dinner. We were starving! I had eggs and Heather made herself some tacos. We ended up in the common room watching TV until about 11:30pm and then we went to bed.

We slept in a bit this morning only getting up at 8:30am and only leaving the hostel at 10:00am. We took the train and bus to Bondi Beach. The beach was really nice. The water was ...
