Emma and I spent a fun night out in the city...i thought it was beautiful during the day but it really comes to life at night....We had drinks at the Opera House bar...a bar outside the Opera house with spectacular views of the Harbor bridge and the city. Having left things until the last minute we struggled to find many hostels with available accommodation and ended up booking one with very mixed reviews in the Kings Cross area which I recall my brother saying was pretty run down. When we arrived at the airport we had been told to use the free phone to call the hostel and that they would then arrange for us to be picked up.
