After checking into our accommodation decided to see Lassetters Casino for happy hour. Once there though decided that instead of happy hour, we could have a platter of mixed foods eg., salmon, minced beef, salt and pepper calamari, prawns, pitta breads, mini pizza and salad, actually tasted really nice and better than it sounds. We had an early tea because as I said was originally going to be happy hour and then decided to play the pokies. I ...

Then up to Anzac Hill to look over the town. Checked in to our cabin then off to the casino for happy hour. Decided on getting a large platter to share for dinner then played the pokies for a wee while.

Back at our park, there is a lady with her pancake van. Michelle and I both bought a serving of pancakes with maple syrup with strawberries, cream and ice cream. Yum yum.

Another great day comes to an end.

Jo & Sue found it quite interesting though. The Alice Springs base covers 90% of the territory and a small area of WA & SA. QLD is looked after by Mt Isa. .... Page ...

We went over to the Cultural Precinct which happens to be just across the road from the c'van park, where they have 4 art exhibitions on. One whole gallery was for the Namatjira clan - now up to 5 generations of art on display which was really good. Albert was taught at the Hermannsburg mission art school 120 km west of Alice Springs, and his children, grandchildren etc etc have followed suit. Quite interesting and quite varied ...
